Wild Card Tips

I've had some questions, both here and on the cricut message board as well as from others that I know about cutting cards using the wild card cartridge. I had a hard time with this cartridge at first and judging by the message board at cricut.com a lot of others have as well. The best way to do cards/envelopes with this cart is to cut the envelope first using the fit to page button. Just before the machine starts to cut it will say something like calculating size. Take note of what size it says it's cutting at. Now that you know the size of your envelope set your size dial to that size and make sure to turn off the fit to page button. Now you can go ahead and cut your card, liners, and any of the fun little embellishments for your card. Everything should be in scale to each other. I will try and post something in the near future about the max size of the envelopes and cards for each card on the cart. If you're not using the envelopes, which some people don't because the odd sizes and shapes cost extra to mail, then you can either cut the card using the fit to page option and then make all of your other cuts at the calculated size, or you can choose a size for the card and stick with that for the liner and all embellishments. Hope this helps if anyone has any more questions please feel free to leave a comment.
